Terms of service
Last updated October 28, 2026
These terms are between Ringtill ("we") and the business that signs up ("you"). By creating an account you agree to them.
What the service does
We answer phone calls to the number we provide or that you forward to us, using an automated voice assistant that speaks as your business. It can share the hours, services and prices you give us, check and book appointments, cancel them, transfer callers to you, take messages, and send confirmation texts.
Your responsibilities
You keep the information in your settings accurate. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your business, including call-recording consent, telemarketing and text-messaging rules. Recording notices are on by default; turning them off is your decision. You won't use the service for emergencies, medical or legal advice, or anything unlawful. Healthcare providers may not use the service for protected health information unless a separate written agreement covers it.
Automated assistant
The assistant does not claim to be a person and says it is automated when asked. It can make mistakes. Check your calendar and the call records in your dashboard, and contact customers directly when something matters.
Plans, trials and cancellation
Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Trials convert to the plan you chose unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can cancel any time from the Billing page; service continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If payment fails, the assistant may switch to taking messages only until billing is fixed.
Phone numbers
Numbers we provide are leased from our telephone carrier for as long as your account is active. When an account closes we may release the number after 30 days unless you ask us to help port it.
Availability
We work to keep the service running at all times, but we don't guarantee that every call will be answered or every booking made. If our assistant is unavailable, calls fall back to a simpler answering path where possible.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages, including missed or incorrect bookings.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes by email or in the dashboard.
