What we collect
From businesses: name, contact details, business hours, services, calendar connection and billing details (card details are held by Stripe, not us). If an owner pastes a link to their website or Google Maps listing, we read that public page and listing to fill in their profile; the owner reviews it before it's saved, and the unsaved draft is deleted within a day.
From shop owners who ask for early access: their name, shop name, mobile number and, if they give it, email, used only to contact them about Ringtill and deleted on request.
From callers, on behalf of the business they call: phone number, what they say on the call (audio and a transcript), and booking details such as name, service and time.
How we use it
To answer calls, make and manage bookings, send confirmation and reminder texts, show the business its calls and bookings, keep a tamper-evident record of each call, prevent abuse, and bill. We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Our providers act on our instructions: Twilio (phone calls and texts), ElevenLabs (speech recognition, voice and the call conversation), Anthropic (the language model that decides replies), Google (calendar, if the business connects it, and Google Maps listing details, if the owner pastes a Maps link), Stripe (payments) and our hosting provider. Each handles only what its part of the service needs.
Text messages
Callers receive texts about their own bookings. Owners receive sign-in codes and booking alerts. Reply STOP to stop texts and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Retention
Call transcripts and recordings are kept while the business's account is active and deleted within 90 days after it closes, unless the law requires longer. Booking records are kept for the business's own records for the life of the account.
Your choices
Callers can ask the business, or us, to access or delete their information. Businesses can export or delete their data by contacting us.
